SYNOPSIS

This in-person class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with LA based Casting Director, Sal Schiavone.

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from a small library of sides provided by Sal. The selected scene will be performed in both formats (single-cam & multi-cam). You'll discuss each read and receive notes, discussing the differences in performances.

Additional preparation details will be sent via email upon confirmation.

BIO

Salvatore Schiavone (he/they) has been working in casting for 10+ years on comedy & drama TV/film/new media projects in Los Angeles. Currently he works at Carmen Cuba Casting, as well as independently casting projects under Salvatore Schiavone Casting. Sal has previously worked with casting directors including Howard Meltzer, Dorian Frankel, Sibby Kirchgessner, Eric Souliere, Debi Manwiller, and Russell Boast.
