SYNOPSIS
This in-person class will include a Q&A with NY based casting professional, Lois Drabkin, followed by prepared reading session.
Participating actors will prepare and perform sides from flim/tv of their choice.

ABOUT LOIS
Lois Drabkin is a Casting Director who has worked extensively on a range of projects, most notably in independent film, and many for first-time directors, including: the Sundance premieres of NANCY, LISTEN UP PHILIP, RESTLESS CITY, NIGHT CATCHES US and THE MISSING PERSON; the Independent Spirit Award acting-nominated features COLEWELL (Karen Allen), NANCY (J. Smith-Cameron) and GLASS CHIN (Marin Ireland); and the recent releases of the award-winning FOXHOLE and the dark comedy HERE AFTER with Christina Ricci. Additional credits include the Emmy-winning first season of the Showtime documentary series investigating climate change, YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY, the second season of the Emmy-nominated HBO true crime series THE VOW, and as part of the casting teams for Steven Spielberg’s WAR OF THE WORLDS, the acclaimed HBO series THE WIRE, and Michael Mann’s PUBLIC ENEMIES. A member of the Casting Society of America, Lois has been nominated for multiple Artios Awards for Outstanding Casting.
