This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Kendra Shay Clark, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

BIO

Kendra Shay Clark, a native of Austin, TX, has been casting in Los Angeles for over two decades. A graduate of the prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California, Clark has worked in all avenues of casting including theatre, commercial, television and film.

Kendra’s credits include 'Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall' (Paramount) with Jenna Ortega, 'Falling for Christmas' (Netflix) with Lindsay Lohan, 'Walker' (CW), 'Circuit Breakers' (Apple TV+), 'The Quest' (Disney+), 'The Romanoffs' (Amazon), 'Fear the Walking Dead' (AMC), and 'Mad Men' (AMC).

Kendra has been working with Helen Geier since 2012. They recently were nominated for an Artios Award for Outstanding Casting in Short Form Series for “The Warehouse Phase” (Peacock). As a member of the disability community, Kendra is a passionate advocate for authentic representation on screen.
