SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A with LA based Casting Director Melissa Moss, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film or television.

BIO

Melissa is an experienced casting associate and casting director who returned to Los Angeles a few years ago to work with La Padura and Hart Casting, where her casting journey began. She collaborated with Julia Kim on the Amazon limited series 'Expats' and the Apple TV+ series 'Sunny', starring Rashida Jones. Her resume includes projects such as Disney+'s 'Secret Society of Second Born Royals', USA's 'Treadstone', and the 'High School Musical' trilogy. Previously, Melissa spent nine years in New York, working on CBS's 'Blue Bloods' and the debut season of Showtime's 'Billions', for which she received an Artios Award nomination. She has worked on numerous series, pilots, and films in both New York and Los Angeles. Most recently Melissa has been consulting on a few projects.
